A Total Catch

You Know when you go through a breakup, everyone assures you there are other fish in the sea? Well, if the Cosmopolitan is no longer floating your boat as your go-to cocktail, allow me to introduce you to the Cosmocean at Ocean Grill.
"It's a twist on the Cosmo," says general manager Holly Mucci.
Indeed, the pink martini looks like the ubiquitous Cosmo. And it has the standard ingredients of vodka, triple sec, and cranberry and lime juices. But dare I say the Cosmocean tastes even better than the drink that inspired it.
Mucci says the additional ingredient of cassis or blackcurrant liqueur is what sets the Cosmocean apart. "The cassis adds flavor," she says.
Icy, slightly fruity and quite refreshing, the cocktail makes a great pick for a sultry summer evening. But who knows? This cocktail might just transition from a summer fling into a longtime love.
Cosmocean
1 oz vodka
1/2 oz cassis or blackcurrant liqueur
1 oz triple sec
1 oz cranberry juice
1/2 oz fresh-squeezed lime juice
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a twist of orange.
